In July 2019, MRC Group won the tender For the purchase of the power plants at the Alon Tavor site of the electricity company.

As part of the agreement, MRC was given an option to establish a new power plant based on natural gas on the Alon Tabor site.

In conventional open-cycle technology (picker) with a capacity of up to 230 megawatts per hour, provided that the company meets various milestones, including commercial operation of the new power plant by the end of 2026.
